The opening of the VII National Patriotic Camp for Student Youth “Action”

Patriotism and an active life position are always an urgent need for both people and for the state, and in a situation where Ukraine has now found itself, patriotism is in general a vital necessity. In the arsenal of activities in the patriotic education of the younger generation there are many means and methods of influence. However, the main thing – is the inclusion of each individual in a specific activity to create and increase the wealth and beauty of their homeland. It is with this purpose that at the Faculty of Social and Psychological Education at the Uman State Pedagogical University named after Pavlo Tychyna an innovative project “National Diet” for the student youth was introduced at the Faculty of Social and Psychological Education.

The national-patriotic camp “Dyya” began its work on September 24, 2014. During the 2014-2017 school year, six changes were made to the camp. The activity of the camp once again proves that active livelihood, patriotic activity and consciousness for students of our university and in particular the faculty are not just familiar terminology, but a really significant part of our student life.

It is also important that student initiative has constant support. At the solemn opening of the new one came the head of the Department for Family and Youth Affairs of the Uman City Council Vdovichenko Natalia Victorivna.

VII change will be held under the slogan “UDUU Students – we study, know and create the history of Ukraine ?!” During the camp’s change, students will have an excellent opportunity to chat with interesting individuals in Uman, who work in various fields of education and culture. Everyone knows that a conscious student should be interested and know the story, and above all, we must know the history of the city in which we study. So, to start a series of interesting lectures and meetings, we decided on the history of the city of Uman, because it is no secret that Uman is a small city with an extremely interesting and rich history. An extremely interesting lecture-excursion in the streets of our city was conducted by Senior Researcher of the Department of History and Natural History of the Uman Museum of Local Lore Davydyuk Vladislav Mironovich.

So thanks to all who join the work of our camp, because we are active young people, we create and write our history not only of our city, but also of the state.
