“Violence against women is perhaps the most shameful human rights violation. And perhaps the most common. It knows no boundaries of geography, culture or wealth. As long as it continues, we can not claim that there is real progress towards equality, development and peace “(Kofi Annan).
The purpose of the photo exhibition – attracting the attention of students to the actual problem violence against women as a human rights abuse and involvement in the fight against it.

Today the world around us, unfortunately, often full of violence, cruelty poured on us from the screens we see aggressive images in advertising and media, and more recently in the country there are tragic events that affect each and everyone. Only in the past three decades, the problem of violence against women and children (as studies show that about 95% of victims of domestic violence – are women and in 75% of cases of domestic violence affected children), and now gender-based violence as a broader phenomenon, was discussed in the political field and the general public – both nationally and internationally.
